The flag of Owain Glyndŵr is a banner with four lions on a background split into four quarters (red/yellow and yellow/red). It was used by Glyndŵr as he claimed to be the true prince of Wales. It is now used by some Welsh groups as a symbol of independence. It is thought to be derived from the counter-charged arms of the princely Houses of Mathrafal and Dinefwr. It is currently in use by the National Eisteddfod for Wales, Cymdeithas yr Iaith and widely amongst pro-independence groups. (©Wikipedia)
