About Britains Flags
Britains Flags are ideal accessories for wargamers and toy soldier collectors (of Britains Deetail, Herald, Timpo, Swoppets, Airfix, Elastolin, Lineol, Durso, Marx, Starlux and many other ranges!) but, whilst they add colour and authenticity to any diorama, they are not exclusive for that purpose and can be used by anyone for any display purpose.
The story of Britains Flags is very simple... After being inspired to make and replace toy flags suitable for the Britains Deetail* (1:32 Scale) soldier ranges, I set out to reproduce existing designs and to add new, varied representations of countries and armies from many eras from history. I have since manufactured flagpoles to fit with that scale (8cm high, with a diameter of approx. 1.75mm) and I regularly print new vinyl flag designs, all done to a very high standard using the best modern-day techniques. These include adding UV-light resistance to prevent fading, using a durable vinyl so as to be tear-proof, and sealing with matt varnish to add a waterproof layer.
The end result is a fun, sturdy, colourful flag that is ideal for any 1:32 Scale (54mm) Figure whether that be from Britains Deetail or (see above) one of many more soldier ranges or display purposes.
The many flags and their varying designs that are sold here are purely created for historical curiosity and not to endorse any political ideology and propaganda of war.
